PAST'S PRESENT COUNTERPART

While charming, this historic mill house with its three separate wings, constructed during three different times, and each having three different floor levels did not accommodate the family.

UPDATING HISTORY

Truly The Homeland House, this historical touch point for the neighborhood eventually was no longer in-sync with the needs of more modern-day lifestyles. Thornhill Design Studio was able to enhance the livability of this Homeland original and to ensure its viability for generations to come.

OLD ENGLISH CHARM

This English-style stone and stucco Homeland house had plenty of charm but lacked comfort. The addition is a perfect blend of old English charm with modern functionality.

RAISE THE ROOF

This Homeland landmark is a classic stone and stucco English cottage style house originally designed by Palmer, Willis & Lamdin. While exhibiting an abundance of charm and style, it lacked some of the functional spaces that a modern family requires.
